Hello and... Thank You

From Joel Liss and Joshua Stein, our debut feature! Thank You Thank You Thank You is the laugh-out-loud, dark, absurdist, anti-coming-of-age buddy comedy for our generation. In this absurd horror comedy, best friends (and serial killers) Sandra and Grace botch their latest crime scene and are forced to scramble out of town in one crazy night. Imagine if the Coen Brothers made Thelma and Louise.

We are in our very first round of fundraising, having just signed with From the Heart Productions, a fiscal sponsor that will make each and every contribution to the project completely tax-deductible by collecting the donations under their 501(c)3 tax structure, and then disbursing the funds to our project. We are currently looking for donations anywhere between $500 - $5000 to help kickstart the process.

Where is the money going to go? Well, we're aiming to shoot the project under SAG-AFTRA's Ultra Low Budget Agreement -- meaning $300K or less. That's not a lot of money to make a movie. We'll be operating under the Roger Corman mindset of filmmaking; shooting with a small crew of trusted friends and colleagues in a low-traffic community. This allows us to significantly reduce production overhead and achieve high production value at a substantial bargain.

How do we know we can do it? Well, we've already started. This past February, we journeyed out to the Mojave Desert, where we shot this sizzle reel -- please, watch and enjoy. And don't hesitate to reach out if you want to learn more from us before committing to a donation.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Depends on a few factors like if you received a reward in exchange for the donation and the value of your donation above that rewards cost, etc. You may contact the nonprofit you donated to directly to receive information on whether or not your donation is tax deductible. Nonetheless, the emailed receipts you will receive for your donation is the documentation you need to make it tax deductible.

Is my donation and credit card info secure?

Yes, the security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.

How do I know that my donation was made successfully?

You will receive an emailed receipt immediately after your donation is submitted and your credit card is processed. Your donation will also show up on your bank or card statement within 1-3 business days.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, a receipt is sent to your email inbox once your donation is processed. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each period when your donation is processed.

Is my donation private?
